All you need to clean, revitalize breathability and add water repellency to all combination fabric and leather footwear.
Both easy to apply by hand; spray or sponge on. Nikwax products are all environmentally friendly; they are water-based, PFAS-free and have never used any harmful aerosols.

Breathable waterproof footwear is most likely to get sweaty and wet inside when used in damp or wet conditions. If the outer leather absorbs water, the breathability of the footwear will be reduced. Therefore, the Durable Water Repellency (DWR) of your footwear must be maintained to ensure comfort. Through use, the outer surface of footwear will pick up contaminants, such as dirt, which attract water, masking the effect of any DWR coating. Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel™ will remove contaminants and revitalize DWR. Durable Water Repellency will eventually wear off and need to be renewed Nikwax Fabric & Leather Proof™. Therefore, they need to be avoided when cleaning waterproof footwear. Use Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel™ to thoroughly clean your waterproof footwear safely, revitalize DWR and breathability. Alternative waterproofing products are often solvent-based aerosols; alternatively, they may be water-based and use PFCs. Aerosol products are flammable. PFCs pose a potential risk to the environment and to the long-term health of the consumer.

How to use
Apply Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel by hand…
IMPORTANT: Press red tab in center of applicator to break seal.
1. Rinse item with clean water to remove excess dirt and dampen surface.
2. Apply product and gently scrub using the brush applicator.
3. Rinse well with clean water.
4. Allow to dry naturally before use.
Note: Color may run. Test on a hidden area first.
Apply Nikwax Fabric & Leather Proof by hand…
IMPORTANT: Shake bottle before use. Always clean first using Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel.
1. Protect work surface from potential overspray.
2. Apply to clean, wet footwear from a distance of 6 inches/15cm. Ensure penetration along seams.
3. After 2 minutes remove excess with a cloth.
4. Allow to dry naturally before use.
Note:
Light/colored leather may darken after treatment. Test on a hidden area first.
